Born in North Adelaide, South Australia
Contributed to the game of soccer as a player, coach, referee
and administrator also a Life Member South Western Schoolboys
and Junior Soccer Association, SA Junior Soccer Council was
awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for services to
youth soccer in South Australia
Often referred to in the Southern Districts as “The Father of
Soccer” as he refereed Schoolboy and junior games throughout the
Southern Zone and was the coordinator of the Southern Districts
Junior Soccer Association for 33 years, he also held many
positions at club level with Sturt SC and Orange-Sturt SC
