Contributed to the game of football as a Player and Coach and was the Rothmans Medal winner in 1983. Represented South Australia as a player and coach, won Coca Cola Cup winners medals with Polonia in 1983 and 1985, Federation Cup winners medal and Player of the Match award with E.D. Azzurri in 1986 and was also club Player of the Year with Polonia in 1983/84/85 and with E.D. Azzurri in 1987. As a coach won the SA Championship with E.D. Azzurri in 1992 along with the Coca Cola Cup in 1990 and the West End Cup in 1991 and won the Coca Cola Cup with Polonia in 1985.
